A heavy silk crepe vintage Kimono camellia surrounded by a spray of double-sided silk satin maple leaves mounted on a black satin headband. The camellia can also be made in silk satin or silk dupion in any colour combination. Price on application.
Featuring unique, hand-dyed silk in rust, burgundy and purple, this amazing Melbourne Cup creation is the designers' own piece for the 2008 event.
The large Chrysanthemum has had each tiny petal hand-shaped with a new flower-iron imported especially for Chrysantemums. It is surrounded by 5 double-sided silk satin leaves, sprays of 12 small chrysanthemum flowers and 6 silk satin leaves with Swarovski crystal centres.
The piece can be made from plain silk habutae and silk organza / chiffon for the flowers.
